Shadi De Bartolo is a female personal trainer baser in the North-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with a longstanding passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.

She knows exactly what it feels like to live through the struggles of being overweight – having dealt first-hand with her own weight loss journey, and also that of her mum, Tina.

Tina was told by her doctor that she would need to lose weight, or face the reality of not having long left to live. The pair then decided to embark on their fitness journey together, which saw Tina lose over 50 kilos, and ignited a passion within Shadi to commit to the fitness lifestyle. Shadi discovered how good she could feel through dedicated training and healthy eating – and wanted to help others on their path to health as well.

In a sad turn of events, Tina unexpectedly passed away in 2013 due to unrelated circumstances – just prior to commencing work on her business ‘Back To Basics 4 Life Naturopathy’. Tina’s loving memory and legacy lives on, as Shadi has adopted the name of the business for her exclusive personal training studio.

Tina’s dream was to help people make it through hard times, through understanding, love and care. She believed that our challenges shape us and we can learn and grow from these difficulties. This is why Shadi’s commitment to helping others achieve their health goals is something she takes very personally. Shadi De Bartolo understands the mental and physical challenges associated with losing weight and keeping fit.
